4 Morning Habits to Help Break Out of the “Mom Rut”

There was a time not long ago when my morning looked a little something like this…

Crying—it’s my human alarm clock and it’s time to get out of bed NOW.

That crying wakes up at least one more kid, but most likely everyone is awake as I stumble to the bathroom to put in my contacts (my only “getting ready” I do for the day…). From the moment I get out of bed, it’s a constant struggle to survive the day. Goal: To make it all the way to bedtime without too many tears, tantrums or traumas.
