My husband and I have been following the Beachbody program 21 Day Fix meal guide for about 5 months now, and we use the containers included in the program to measure out the correct portions for our meals. This month we want to focus on planning out all of our meals, and sticking to the plan in an effort to help maintain our weight and keep us on track with eating clean and healthy.

Another reason that we want to get into the habit of making a meal plan and sticking to it is to help out with our grocery budget. We have worked in one meal this week that we eat out, and the rest of our meals and snacks are well planned out so we don’t over-buy and blow our budget!
One thing that we learned early on while trying to change to healthier eating habits is that keeping meals simple, and somewhat repetitive is what works best for us. We would much rather go all out and enjoy a cheat meal at our favorite restaurant once a week, than indulge several smaller times throughout the week. But that’s just us!
